With an ever increasing political awareness among children, shouldn’t children also have a seat at the government’s table?

This playful explorative photography project departs from the concept of what if children also get a say in the political landscape. 

 

Jarné van Zetten and I set out to visualise what a children run department in the government could (or should) look like. Through interviews with kids between 11 and 16 we were able to create a uniform and flag which made them feel empowered and in charge. This resulted in these powerful photographs.

Don’t let adults mess up the world, we don’t want to clean their mess.
