How to deal with an inheritance that has colonial ties?
This photographic archive explores what it means to inherit colonial objects in a time of decolonization.
A story of loss, love, and the complexities of inherited histories.

This photographic archive was created as a way of unearthing the lost stories of the inheritance I came into possession of, through my grandfathers passing.
Aside from focussing on the origin of the inherited pieces, I've used this archive as an opportunity to react to the ongoing discussion around the decolonization of the museum-sphere. And visualise how personal actions aid in the healing of colonial wounds.
